FUE Hair Transplant – The best method for hair restoration

FUE hair transplant

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a technique of extracting, or “grafting,” donor hair in a follicular unit hair transplant procedure. During FUE hair transplant surgery, a small, circular punch in the skin is made using a precision tool around a follicular unit. In this technique follicle hairs are removed from the donor area and transplanted to the affected area. There is no stitching required for the donor area, it will get fixed on its own within a few days.

Basic Things About Fue Hair Transplant :

  1. In hair transplant technique, to cover the surface of the head permanent hair is redistributed where there are fewer hairs or no hairs.
  2. With this technique no new hairs are created, but only the existing hairs are moved around to create a new hairline.
  3. Hairs are removed from the back and side of the head as these are permanent androgen resistant hair and they don’t fall off even at the age of 80 years.
  4. The new grafted hair starts to grow after 12 weeks of hair transplant surgery and continues to grow 1 cm per month throughout the life.
